Winchester Shaker Kitchen

The elevated island on extended feet is a feature of this classic Shaker kitchen, the island hand-painted in Farrow & Ball’s ‘Lichen’’. Created and made for our customer in Winchester, who loves cooking on the Long Island prep area. The rest of the warmth comes from a solid 40mm thick Douglas Fir wooden worktop, dark black granite with rounded full bullnose edges, a traditional white Belfast sink, butt hinged cabinetry doors and simple flat drawer fronts all painted in F & B’s ‘Oxford Stone’, The look makes for masterful simplicity.
