The Thinking Behind the Shaker Style
The shaker style grew out of communities who valued simplicity, honesty and durability far above decoration, and that thinking still guides how we build a shaker kitchen today. A five piece door with a recessed centre panel, clean lines and traditional joinery gives our cabinetry its timeless appeal. We make our shaker cabinets in frame, so each door sits within the cabinet rather than over it. It is a small thing, but it is the hallmark of a traditional shaker kitchen and it is what gives the finished room its understated elegance.
