The Robert’s came to see us with ideas for a period kitchen in their listed house.  At first glance, they were not sure if we were going to be ‘off the scale in terms of price, but quickly were reassured when Andrew, our designer developed a scheme which suited their budget and catered in every detail to their ‘wish list’.

The fact that they were able to see their kitchen at our workshops being constructed during all the various stages delighted them.  More enjoyment followed when we called them in to see their bench seating being made as this was a strong feature of their kitchen.   The criss-cross understructure of the dining table with a thick oak worktop was supplied by Blooms of Southborough and painted the same colour as the bench seating.

All the cabinets are expertly hand painted in Farrow & Ball’s ‘Dovetail’ which complimented perfectly the beautiful ceramic Fired Earth floor tiles.  A Ceasarstone quartz worktop called ‘organic white’, is understated, but has plenty of charm to bring out the whole colour scheme.

Having a diligent, intelligent fitter mindful of all the finer details went a long way to satisfy the Robert’s.  It made their whole experience with David Haugh well worth it.
