partner with Silo, the UK’s first zero-waste restaurant.
The restaurant is based in Brighton, featuring appliances from Miele throughout. Head chef, Douglas McMaster, champions a pre-industrial food system and relies on the precision Miele cooking appliances consistently deliver.
Silo eliminates waste products by choosing to trade directly with farmers, utilising re-usable delivery vessels and choosing local ingredients for use in their kitchens. Any waste or food scraps are sent to their compost machine to help grow and produce more food in the future.
